I like my Kindle for books but also would like to read on Kindle the articles I saved in pdf from databases. Is there any way to convert them?

This was a question asked through our reference chat service and it seemed that since there is an app for almost any mobile device and reader, a converter app like this was out there also. In fact, there is a free software program called Mobipocket Creator that has good reviews from users. It does exactly what the question asks for ---convert pdf files to ebook files supported by Kindle. Here is a video on YouTube explaining how to convert pdf files with Mobipocket Creator.
