I need to find systematic reviews for a nursing research project.

What are systematic reviews and where to find them?

Answer

Systematic Reviews are analysis of evidence of scientific studies carried out in medical fields or sciences. They are more than literature reviews in this respect. Among the databases for medicine and science that we subscribe in the library only CINAHL Plus has the option of limiting the search to these types of publications. Medline, ScienceDirect and Scopus do not. You will need to combine the keywords of your topic with the phrase "systematic review" or a keyword review. Please click on the short document below explaining the characteristics of systematic reviews.
