I would be happy to help you with this question. This is a very big topic and you should be able to easily find articles in the Academic Search Complete database. If you start at the library's homepage, click on the Databases link in the middle of the page. This will take you to all of our databases and Academic Search is the first one. Clicking on it will take you to the search screen for the database. Put Family in one box and Poverty in another. In the third box you can try out various terms such as those you already mentioned or whatever others you like, maybe something like Influence for example. You should pull up lots of results and I suspect that many of them will have full-text for you.
